Community Artwork: Fitz Museum

This community-woven piece was created on a pedal loom with the help of over 70 participants - children and adults alike. Using chunky yarn and simple patterns, everyone was able to add their own thread to the cloth. 🧵✨

I’m honoured that this work now has a home in the Fitzwilliam Museum’s education space, where it will be enjoyed by children and continue to inspire future community projects. It feels especially meaningful as earlier this year I was selected by the Fitzwilliam as one of their up-and-coming artists - to see our shared weaving now become part of the museum’s story is pure joy. 💫
